Friday
Arrive in Niagara Falls according to your own travel plans.  You may choose to arrive at any time during the day.  Official check in at the Canadian hotel begins at 4pm, but you may choose to arrive early.  If you arrive at the hotel early, give your luggage to the bellman and he will store it until you can check in. While you await the arrival of the Cultural Hi-Ways buses and your tour manager (approximate arrival time 5:30pm) from the Metro New York and Washington,  DC area, you may choose to explore Niagara Falls.  The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of everything you'll want to see, including Clifton Hill!  You're free to experience the Falls by moonlight or dance the night away (try a Karaoke club for instance!)
For your information, 19 is the minimum age to enter a nightclub in Niagara Falls, Canada; 21 in Niagara Falls, NY.

Saturday Today you have total freedom to do whatever you would like to do.
Choose to buy a "Great Gorge Adventure Pass" which includes many unforgettable attractions, such as the Maid of the Mist boat ride, Journey Behind the Falls, White Water Walk, the Butterfly Conservatory as well as transportation for one day on the Niagara Parks People Mover!  Or choose only the attractions that really interest you and pay for them individually.  Remember you can always walk over to the American side to experience their most popular attraction...Cave of the Winds!

Please note: The citizens of some countries are required to purchase a special visa to enter Canada (click here to see a list of countries). If this applies to you and you decide NOT to get the extra visa, we offer an option for you to stay on the American side of the Falls.

If you choose to stay on the American side of the Falls, you can choose to buy a "Niagara USA Discovery Pass" which provides admission to many attractions in and around Prospect Point Park including; Maid of the Mist boat ride, Cave of the Winds, the Observation Tower, Aquarium of Niagara, Adventure Theater, as well as transportation for one day on the Niagara Scenic Trolley. Your hotel is located at the Niagara Reservation State Park entrance...only a 25 minute walk from our Canadian hotel!

Getting to Niagara Falls
As this is a "Get There On Your Own Tour", transportation to/from Niagara Falls is not included in the price of the tour. This allows you total freedom and flexibility to decide how and when you will travel and opens up the tour to au pairs living across the United States.  Detailed information will be provided to help direct you from where you arrive (airport, bus or train station) to our hotel.  A Cultural Hi-Ways representative will meet you at the hotel on Friday evening.
